一、教学内容分析
本模块的话题是围绕英语的学习方法展开听、说、读、写活动。本模块教学内容实用性很强,帮助学生在开学初既是对英语学习的方法进行介绍, 交流和总结, 也使学生学会了如何得体地使用英语向他人征求和提出建议,照顾对方情感, 感谢他人的帮助.。
第二单元在此基础上通过对阅读材料的分析, 针对英语学习过程中出现的具体问题, 介绍了英语学习的方法。第二单元在已有的基础上, 对英语建议表达法进行巩固和深入学习。
二、教学目标
1.语言知识目标：
1)话题：语言学习
2)语音：了解英语句子中的词语连读的一般规则，并能够在交际中模仿运用。
3)词汇：理解并掌握本模块中的下列词汇
名词：
breath, club, conversation , group, language, mark , smile ,term , wish,
动词：
borrow,copy,count,forget,guess,hear,improve,place,remember,smile,start,
watch,wish
形容词：basic, deep, shy
副词:just,together
代词：yourself
短语：enjoy yourself
4)语法：在实际运用中体会和领悟how about doing,why not do,try (not ) to do等结构形式的表意功能。
5）功能：能够在日常生活中恰当理解并初步掌握用英语征求意见和提出建议的表达方式。
2、语言技能目标：
1）能够读懂与本单元所学语言知识相当的关于英语学习的英语短文。
2）能够运用本单元重点句式提出英语学习的建议。
3）能够运用本单元所学语言知识，就语言学习口头或书面征求他人的意见或提出自己的建议。
3.情感与文化目标：
树立学英语的信心，敢于用英语进行表达，培养学生恰当的向他人提建议的方式, 照顾他人, 乐于助人的情感。
三、教学过程
Step 1 Revision
【操作方式】：
1、运用思维导图及图片相结合，复习英语学习的各个方面。
2、两人对话，询问对方在英语学习中的问题。
A: What problems do you have?
B: I have problems in …
(vocabulary, grammar, translation, pronunciation……
3、要求学生给出英语学习任一方面的建议。
4、归纳总结提出建议的功能句型。

设计意图：复习第一单元内容，为本课重点句型及话题的学习做好铺垫。导入课文，通过题目谈论并预测文章内容。激发学生学习兴趣，调动学习积极性。
Step 2 Lead- in
【操作方式】：听录音，将人名与所遇到的问题相匹配。
Li Hao I’m shy and can’t speak to the foreign teacher.
Oliver I forget the new words quickly
Sam I enjoy watching English films, but it takes a long time.
设计意图：锻炼学生听力，并以此让学生能够初步了解文章大概内容，进一步熟悉本单元话题。
Step 3 Reading
【操作方式】
1、学生快速阅读，回答问题。
1）.How many basic questions are there?
2）. What are the basic questions about?
设计意图：锻炼学生快速阅读能力，把握文章主要内容和文章脉络。
2、学生分段阅读，按要求完成各部分的内容。
Para. 1:
T: Are there a few questions in English study?
S: read and find out the answer quickly.
Para. 2-3:
T: 1、Why does it take Li Hao a long time to watch films and listen to songs in English?
What is Language Doctor’s advice?
S: read and answer, discuss about the answer of the third question in small groups.
Para. 4-5:
T: Choose true or false
1）.You can use “how old are you” to start a conversation.
2）. Many people are shy when they speak English.
3）.Before you begin, you can relax yourself by taking a deep breath and smiling.
Para. 6-7:
T: What’s the problem?
What about the suggestion?
Give the students more suggestions about pronunciation and spelling.
设计意图：逐一阅读并分析文中提及的三个英语学习的具体问题，锻炼学生快速获取有效信息能力，通过交流，锻炼学生英语表达能力。
Step 4 Practise
【操作方式】
1、学生再读短文并按要求补全句子。
1) The good way to learn real English is

设计意图：再一次的感知全文课文，熟悉并巩固本课重点句型。
2、将全班学生分成四组，每组一个讨论内容，根据本课所学发表自己的观点。

G3. What’s the best piece of advice in the passage to help you improve your English?
G4. What’s your advice for improving listening?
设计意图：让学生最后用讨论的形式将课文中内容用自己的语言表达出来，锻炼学生的英语思维，口语表达等一系列综合语言运用能力，也巩固本课的功能句式。
