一、教材分析
本课是新标准英语一起十二册第七模块的第一单元,主要描述杨利伟乘神州五号到太空的大事件。学生在四年级已经学习使用一般过去时描述过去发生的事情,本课将在原有基础上再次巩固使用一般过去时的用法。
二、学情分析
本节课是面向六年级学生,他们对英语学习有较浓的兴趣,并且有一定的英语学习基础和良好的学习习惯。而本节课的话题又是学生感兴趣的,因此本课主要是在学生已有的知识基础上,提高他们的综合语言运用能力。
三、教学目标
(一)语言知识目标
1. 掌握四会单词“spend, excited, proud, video”
2. 掌握目标语句:He spent about 21 hours in space.
In October 2003, Shenzhou V flew into space.
He wanted to go into space.

3. 掌握一般过去时的用法
(二)语言技能目标
1. 能运用目标语句描述大事件。
2. 能运用一般过去时谈论过去发生的事情。

1. 通过本课的学习,培养学生热爱祖国的情感。
2. 让学生体会到通过自己的努力,终将实现自己的梦想,为国争光。

2. 掌握动词的过去式,并能正确运用一般过去时谈论过去发生的事情。

T: I’m very excited now. Are you excited? 教授单词excited----exciting
Let’s compare them and do the exercise.

2) Free talk T: Look, what’s this? Ss:Spaceship.
T: The name of the spaceship is Shenzhou V.
(设计意图:歌曲律动,营造轻松的英语学习环境,并自然地引入“spaceship”)

1. Show the pictures talk about Yang Liwei.
T: Who is he? Ss: Yang Liwei.
T: Can you talk about him? Talk about him in groups.
T: Here are some pieces of information about him. Let’s look: (师生交流)
